  1. According to me, both stand on an equal footing. Both have Indian features, the casio possessing more features than yamaha; tonal qualities are equal in both keyboards, according to me. But experts have to assess their own opinion. I can recommend both to novice and semi professionals. In some respects, I feel Casio scores over Yamaha. Pricewise, both are priced the same but of late Casio has drastically reduced to Rs.19000/ while Yamama 21000+.

  6. 7300 is Far more better then yamaha i-455. Also if you have to choose between 6300 or 7300in better to go with 7300IN , As it has lot more tones,rhythms,16 -track sequencer and drawbar which is not there in 6300 and either in yamaha-i455.

Layer is better(more then better....but not best) compared to both above.

If you have price-Range upto 30k , go for it as no keyboard better then this, else go for ROLAND EA - INDIAN EDITION
OR BUY ROLAND JUNO DI IN 2ND HAND. IT WOULD BE GOOD UNDER 30k

  7. No way being a professional keyboardist, I would be more selective for a PSR-i455 for a on-stage performance, and that too without a second thought.

  8. Hello! There if you would ask me which is better i will say Casio 7300IN specially for this reasons :-

    1) You can load & play karaoke files in it.

    2) you can convert any MP3 song in .wav and play in your keyboard

    3) Layer 2 different tones and split 3rd without any hazzel

    4) If you check for ports there are L-MONO - R-stereo port given to record your output directly using Audacity or any recording software.

6)Rotary organs play important role ,it may sound dumb but when you layer with strings it gives awesome tone, with controlling functionality.

7)Last but not least, you can modify Attack & Release settings of any Tones to increase its depth and make it more likely.

    Regarding Indian tones & rhythms

It is true that yamaha I455 contains good indian rhythms like bollywood, bhajans, garba etc & good indian sounds like Santoor,Tanpura etc . But in casio rhythms are also average-good
and tones if you don't like can layer with other tones to make it realistic . Also there is converter to convert Yamaha rhythms to casio rhythms which you can import later to casio keyboard.

    Note!

Most of the above all features are not present in Yamaha I455 , so i suggest Casio 7300IN. I myself bought yamaha @ first , within week replace it with casio.
