Google announced details about it’s new Android 4.1 Jelly Bean Operating System. It comes with many new features and a dozens of performance improvements., now get unofficial google new feature in your Android Ice Cream Sandwich Device.

Now, if you happen to be an Android user rocking an AOSP-based ICS ROM on your rooted device, you can get your hands on a feature-restricted version of Google Now, without having to wait to get it via the official Jelly Bean OTA update.

• Step 1:: Download and Install any root-level file explorer such as Solid Explorer, Root Explorer, ES File Explorer etc. in your Android Device via Google Play.
• Step 2:: Now modify the selected directory permission setting to allow the R/W opertaions.
• Step 3:: Now open the build.prop file which you can find in Android’s System folder.
• Step 4:: Find the ro.build.version.sdk= entry in that and change its value to 16 (from 15), and save the changes.
• Step 5:: Now, navigate to /system/app, trace the GoogleQuickSearchBox.apk file and rename it toGoogleQuickSearchBox.apk1.
• Step 6:: After rebooting the device, download the APK from this Dev-Host link and side-load it as you would do with any APK.
• Step 7:: Re-edit the build.prop file within the system folder to change the ro.build.version.sdk value back to 15.
• Step 8:: Reboot the device once again, hit the Google Quick Search bar, and you should be good to go.
